We have a large retail showroom in the South side of Glasgow - five minutes from junction 20 of the M8.

It is also very easy to reach us with public transport. Pollokshields East Rail station is a two minute walk from us and takes you straight in to Glasgow Central station.

We are open seven days including public holidays but take some time out over the Christmas period.

Our prices include repairs and restoration where needed.   Our methods of restoration are

sympathetic to the furniture and the final finish is a soft, waxy shine.

We usually restore our furniture to its lightest possible shade.

It is possible to darken a piece to match or tone any existing furniture you may have.

Bring us a drawer or a chair as a colour guide.

We double check that all our furniture is ready to go into your home.

Chairs with loose joints will be taken apart and glued back solidly together.

When upholstery is tatty, torn or mismatched, reupholstering with your own fabric is included in the price.  We will tell you how much fabric you should send us then we'll do the rest.

We think that a bit of foxing and a few imperfections add to the beauty of an antique mirror

but mirrors can be replaced if requested.

We can adapt certain pieces of our furniture to meet modern requirements.

Eg. Washstands can be modified to accommodate a modern sink and pipes.

Sideboards and bookcases can be incorporated into your kitchen...

Extra shelves can be made as desired.

We can deliver locally. For deliveries further afield we can recommend a reliable carrier.

Delivery may not be as prohibitive as you think. We recently sent a an oak bookcase and an occasional table to Oxford for £85, which included insurance.
